BIOGRAPHY

I have many years experience in the music industry working as a producer, programmer, session player, song-writer and composer.

Began my career in the UK Garage scene, writing and producing for Passion for Music Records. You can hear my work on Pure Garage IV, Artful Dodger's 'Lessons From The Underground' and DJ Luck & MC Neat Presents III and others.

This work brought me to the attention of Rod Gammons,producer and owner of Planet Audio Studios, who has worked with artists like Ultravox,Imagination,Roachford,Heather Small, Beverley Knight and Mark Morrison.

Working at Planet Audio was a great experience and whilst there I was a significant contributor to Liberty X's UK No. 2 hit 'Got To Have Your Love', a cover of the Mantronix classic, which charted in eight countries.

While with Planet Audio, I formed fruitful creative collaborations with keyboard player Toby Baker (Chaka Khan,Michael McDonald, Eric Clapton, B.B. King) and vocalist Gary Poole (2016 The Voice finalist), Kenny Thomas and Hamish Stewart (Average White Band).

After Planet Audio, I met Birmingham songwriter Pete Simpson and formed a production team called The Soul Directive,with collaborations from Katie Thomas and Rebekah Ryan (2017 X Factor finalist), our songs secured airplay on BBC Radio London. This initiative attracted media interest and I was interviewed on the Tony Blackburn 'Sunday Soul Show' at this time.

I now hope to draw on my extensive industry experience to compose for media. In 2017, I graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a First Class degree in Music Composition and Technology for Film and Games.
